Lassen Loomis Museum Association
The Association is a private, non-profit, organization established to aid research, interpretation, and education at Lassen Volcanic National Park. The Association was created in 1939 by committed community members dedicated to preserving the National Park Service mission.
Our Mission The Association is dedicated to enhancing the Park visitor's appreciation and educational experience by providing publications and funding programs and projects on the cultural, natural and historical resources of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Association profits are used to support visitor information and education, interpretation facilities and Park programs.
We invite you to join the partnership. Membership dues and other private contributions help the National Park Service do so much.

Background As a tribute to Lance Armstrong’s fight against cancer, the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Nike launched the LiveStrong yellow wristband campaign in 2004. Over 25 million LiveStrong wristbands have been purchased in support of cancer research and finding a cure.
It is in the spirit of awareness of the National Park Service (NPS), its themes and mission; we are offering the GREEN wristband.
As you visit your National Parks this summer, recycle your trash, plant a tree, turn off that extra light, or camp, hike, and boat sustainably, consider how your thoughtfulness keeps our world alive. When you stare in awe at the Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty or George Washington’s home, you are reminded of our American legacy, the National Parks! Show your support, wear GREEN!
